Wednesday Night Programming for Kids!
"Friends" and "Impact" are small group driven mid-week programs designed to meet the social, emotional and spiritual needs of today’s kids.
FRIENDS (children ages 2 years through 4thd grade) uses Group Publishing’s Faithweaver materials to bring Bible truths to kids in a hands-on, relevant way. The children meet in small groups for prayer and discussion over the night’s Bible story. Activity time rotates between games in the gym or special activity nights that may include crafts of cooking activities. Each activity leads the children back to the Biblical principle of the evening. Larger group time includes singing, Bible memory time and the presentation of the bible story. Kids are encouraged to invite their friends to this exciting and fast paced evening of fun!
IMPACT 56 is designed especially for 5th and 6th grade students. Using Promiseland materials, students are encouraged to strengthen their relation with Christ in a large and small group centered evening. Topics covered in this contemporary and kid-friendly program are community building in the body of Christ, discovering your spiritual gifts, stewardship, the media vs. the Bible, Metamorphosis—changing into the kids God wants them to be, plus many more relevant and exciting topics.
Groups meet each Wednesday night of the school year from 7:00 to 8:10 PM.
