We are family!
WE are FAMILY…..if you grew up in the 70’s it’s hard not to think about that cRaZY famous song. In 1979 the Pittsburgh Pirates used this as their theme song. It brought them back from a 3 game to 1 deficit to defeat the Baltimore Orioles in the World Series. For the team it represented players of different backgrounds coming together as one.
So, you may be thinking what does this have to do with us? Take a look around. You are surrounded by women from different backgrounds. Yet somehow, we come together as one. We may not be connected biologically but we are connected as one through Jesus.
God’s Word tells us that we who are many form one body and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. So, we need each other. (Romans 12:3-8)
As you decide where you want to plug into Women’s activities this year, it is our prayer that you will feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. After all, WE are FAMILY and each one of you is a part of it!
